Please be informed that ENG1020 Test 3 is scheduled for Week 9, Friday, September 14, 2007 at 9.00 am Lecture Theatre 2.

The topics covered are as followed:

· Geometric properties of sections
· Bending moment and shear force diagrams
· Bending stresses in beams
· Deflection in beams

Attendance is compulsory
Students are reminded that they only need to have writing instruments and a non-programmable calculator on their desk, during the test.
